Obituary of Douglas Gordon Ince

Douglas Gordon Ince Jan 20,1929 - Jan 31, 2024 Doug passed away on Jan 31 ,2024 in the Aberdeen Hospital at the age of 95. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late James (Jim)and Elsie Ince. Doug enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a lifelong resident of Stellarton. He loved his many years as a boy scout leader. A very successful business man, Doug operated a confectionery wholesale business. Doug was a familiar face at the YMCA for over 50 years (The Greeter). His favorite place was the camp, and anywhere there was a country music jam. Doug loved being with family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 72 years Susan, daughter Marlene, son Mike (Shelly Foley), son-in-law Michael Hartlen ,2 grandsons and a special great grandson. Doug was predeceased by his parents James (Jim) and Elsie Ince, brother Vernon and his eldest daughter Charlene. Cremation has taken place.
