Obituary of Phyllis Eileen MacDonald

MacDonald, Phyllis Eileen, 78 of Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow passed away November 27, 2024 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit after a brief illness surrounded by her family.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Fannie (Harvey) Lamb.
Phyllis was a resident of New Glasgow all her life. After graduation from New Glasgow High School, she went on to work for MT&T from where she retired after 31 years. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton. She enjoyed baking, crafts, reading and visiting family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Mike), sons: Larry and Randy, a grandson Matthew Fillmore, a sister Catherine Lamb and special cousin Janice Aikens.
She was predeceased by her husband Neil MacDonald and a brother Herbie in childhood.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am to 11:30am Saturday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral services will be held 12pm Saturday from the Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton with Rev. Joanne Neal presiding.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton, Nova Scotia SPCA or to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Society
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit for all the wonderful care shown to Phyllis.
