I am so sorry I could not find this obit in time to attend her viewing and funeral. Phyllis was a co-worker at MT&T and though I left there after 6 years of employment we remained friends and she reached out to me via FB after my husband's passing and we continued to talk. I was so sorry to receive her message she was in Pallative and grateful I got to visit her there. She was one of the sweetest people in the world and definitely is now in heaven bringing joy to all she meets. I'm sure she's making her famous scotch cookies too that she was so kind to make and share. Rest in peace dear friend. You will be missed

Phyllis was a great neighbour and friend. It was a comfort to know she was near and we were always available if one of us needed a hand. I am delighted to have known and chatted with her, and to have been a recipient of her excellent baked goods!

Rhonda, I am so sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. We had great times while working together at MT&T, I'll never forget the first backshift I worked with her, Linda & Liz, the look on my face was priceless when the 1am girls went home and they pulled out the ash trays, we laughed about it for years. Phyllis was a great friend, and Verna had kept be up-to-date on her stay in the hospital the past week. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I meet Phyllis , many years ago at Maritime Tel and Tel , she was a kind , caring and loving person... my Mom was sick and Phyllis would visit and bring her bake goods , Mom loved seeing her . Phyllis was a great baker of sweets ... she will be missed by all ❤♡❤

It was wonderful to have connected with Phyllis again. She was a wonderful soul who did so much for my dad when he was in hospital last year. It was a comfort to know he had someone else checking in and visiting. She will be dearly missed.
