Sincere sympathy Norma to you and your family during this difficult time. Years ago we lived on Meadowlark Drive and I used to babysit for you. That was moons ago for sure! And you did lots of sewing for my mother (Rose Howard) and I out of crimpoline (sp?) Wishing you peace and comfort in the days ahead with all the memories of your life shared with Ben. God Bless.

Dear Norma and family,
I was saddened to hear of Ben’s passing. My late husband Errol MacNeill had Ben as his best friend growing up on Olebar Street. Later Errol and I connected up again with Ben and Norma at Marco Polo where close friends of ours also had a trailer. We spent many summers visiting back and forth and always had them to our cottage in Stanley Bridge for supper at least once every summer. Then we made plans to meet in Florida to go watch the Blue Jays games there and see each other while we were in St. Pete’s Beach for a month.
Ben was always a kind, gentle man and we enjoyed many happy memories together. Deepest sympathy to his family that he always spoke of with such pride. RIP.
