Obituary of Michael Mark Dwayne Robson
Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robson, Michael Mark Dwayne- It is with a heavy heart that the family announce the unexpected passing of our much loved brother Michael Mark Dwayne Robson known to many as Mikey.
After Stellarton High School, Mike had various employment opportunities, ranging from a favourite D.J., running hot dog carts for those in search of a late night snack to Pizza Delivery for Sam’s’ Pizza and a favourite inflatable technician at Hyper Amusement Rentals to name a few.
Mike from his youth was a lover of sports playing hockey, baseball and basketball, eventually travelling with the Canadian Half Pints Basketball Team across Canada displaying his athletic skills while entertaining the many fans of the Half Pints. Fishing was one of Mike's favourite pastimes. Seeing Mike walking with his fishing rod heading to the East River behind the house was a common occurrence, with a smile on his face and an even wider one when he had something to show for his efforts. Planting a garden next to the family home on River Street was always a success. Mike loved showing the “fruits “of his labour, sharing the fall harvest with many family members.
As much as Mike enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting and gardening he loved kids! Over the years at the Robson family home there were lots of young children that Mike doted on especially his nephews and nieces and they in return adored him.
Mike will be remembered for his mischievous grin, kind heart and calm disposition and will be missed by many.
Mike will be mourned and remembered by sister Donna Wolfe (Colin), of Beaverbank, their Children Duncan (Laquisha) children Tristan, Jada, and Brett of
