My father Eldridge Keith Ross was his cousin, I remember always going to visit in the summer time and daddy’s cousin Elddy was always so good to us, my deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace

Eldridge Donald Ross—Age 81,Trenton. It is with much love, yet great sadness, we share the passing of our dear father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother uncle and friend Eldridge.
Eldie passed away on August 18,2024 in the Maritime Odd Fellows Nursing Home, Pictou. He was born in New Glasgow and he was the son of the late Alexander Ross and Daisy ( Snow ) Ross. He was predeceased by his daughter Denise ( Ross ) Higgins.
The gathering of family and friends always brightened up Eldie’s day. Whether playing washer toss and crib or hunting and fishing, he was always happiest at these times. Eldie’s love of friends and family is something that he has instilled in his children.
Eldie leaves behind a family who loved him dearly. He is survived by Donna Ross ( mother of his children ), Truro; sons Doug ( Tim ) Ross, Belmont; James ( Elaine ) Ross, Trenton and Donald ( Katie ) Ross, Cape Breton; son -in-law Raymond ( Denise ) Higgins, Belmont; granddaughters Natasha ( Daniel ) McDonald, Belmont and Taylor ( Matthew ) Bailey, Truro; grandsons James Murchison Westville, and Eldie ( Leanne ) Murchison, Hailfax; Joshua and Jacob Ross, Cape Breton;sister Janet ( Alan) Wark, brother Raymond Ross and stepmother Viola ( Kellock ) Ross; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maritime Odd Fellows Home, where he resided until his passing. We are extremely grateful for the care and support from the styaff over the last three years that dad received.
Arrangements have been entrusted to H.W Angus FGunerla Home, 256 King Street, New Glasgow,NS. Cremation has taken place and online condolences may be made by visiting angusfuneralhomes.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maritime Odd Fellows Nursing Home.

Don, Katie, Jacob, Josh I am very sorry for the loss of your father/grandfather. Im very happy that you all drove up to see him one final time on Saturday.
