Dad, it is hard to believe that you are gone. We knew that the time had come for you to leave this world, to leave behind your suffering, and go to be with our Heavenly Father in our eternal home, but it still hurts.
And in the days ahead, there will be times that it really hits us that you are no longer here.
We will miss the phone calls to check in and see how we are doing. We will miss the visits where you would raid the desserts, and watch TV with the volume up too loud. But most of all, we will just miss you; your heart of care, your interest in your family, your commitment to the Lord's work.
2 Timothy 4:7 - You fought a good fight, Dad; your finished your course; you kept the faith. You were an example of faith in Jesus right up to the very end.
We love you. - Laurie (O's) and Dave

Grandpa,
I love you and miss you deeply. I can still hear your voice whenever I walk into a room, saying, “heeey baby! How’s grandpa’s girl? Come give me a kiss.”
I have so many memories of you; I can’t even try to pick a favorite. Snowball fights in the dark, donut runs, and movie nights would be at the top of the list though.
Thank you for always picking up the phone and telling me how to fix all the broken things in my home. You always made me feel so proud of myself when I was able to successfully fix something, even though you were the one telling me exactly what to do.
Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for teaching me about Jesus, and for all the amazing memories filled with joy and fun.
Until I see you again,
Hey gramps!
I’m doing well.
Kisses ♥️
Alana

Grandpa,
I am so grateful to know you! You have welcomed me with open arms since I first started dating Aaron. I heard since before meeting you that you and Aaron were so alike and getting to know you I found that to be so true! You have passed down your big heart for others and God. You both have a knack of giving gifts and making people smile! My favorite memory is when you surprised Aaron and I with a trip to Niagara Falls! It was cold and freezing and rainy, but it was one of my most cherished memories. The fact that you drove such a long way out of love for both of us still touches my heart. I love you and I’ll miss you! ❤️

It’s very hard to pick just one favorite memory of my grandpa because he never failed to make me smile or laugh. Every time I saw him, he always did funny dances around the house and told me I was his favorite even though he loved us all the same. The last time he came to visit we went to Disney and in line for a ride he said “Let’s take a picture for that Snapchat.” At the time I thought it was just a cute picture, but it has turned into my favorite picture with him. Since he passed that same picture has come up on my phone numerous times, and I know he is watching over me and smiling down from heaven.
Love and miss you so much!
Your Pumpkin,
Ava

To my Grandpa,
I love you so dearly! I miss you so much and all the laughter and love you brought to my life. Your fridge and pantry were always stocked and you never missed an opportunity to spoil us.
You gave me my first job where I learned so much. The skills I learned with you on all those jobs, I still use today. I will always hold onto all the stories and memories we shared driving from house to house to fix appliances.
I always knew you were in my corner cheering me on and were proud of me. I hope I can continue to make you proud as you watch over all of us.
Thank you for being a constant example of Jesus and a witness wherever you went. I loved the heart you had for others and a desire to be used by God.
You are forever in my heart and I cannot wait till the day we are all together again in Heaven!
All my love,
Ben ❤️

I thank the Lord for my brother Bruce. I still remember sharing the gospel with him for the first time and the sense of my own failure of not presenting it better, only to receive a phone call from Bruce a few months later. Bruce was so excited that he had just come to believe in Jesus along with Ginny. Bruce was always a very pleasant person to be around but when Jesus came into his life he was transformed. He was the one person I could share with in my family in the joys of following Jesus. He remained committed to Jesus for the rest of his life which brought me great joy. I will miss our fellowship in Christ and our conversations reflecting on our family history. I am sad today as I am missing him, but I am rejoicing today that he is with the Lord, full of joy and knowing His love perfectly. I wait to go to be with you brother.
Your brother

We thank God for allowing Bruce to be in our lives if even for just a short time. He love for Christ and desire to share the Gospel was refreshing. Our hearts go with Virginia as she follows God's leading back to Ontario and wherever. We pray that God will make the rough places smooth and His perfect will continue in her life. This has all be a shocking change of plan and it is so sad but we know she will come forth through it all wonderfully as she is of great faith too and her dedication to Bruce and ministry was evident. We never walk alone when we have Jesus and one day, like Bruce, we will see Him face to face. Love Ralph and Roberta.

In remembrance of Bruce, his big heart and gentle kindness will be deeply missed. The bonds forged during a lifetime full of shared joys — by the water's edge, watching hockey games or on golfing greens with his brothers — remain cherished memories. His devout faith touched many hearts, echoing in the scripture he so willingly shared. We treasure the stories from our mother recounting his youthful mischief and tireless spirit. Let us remember him with a smile and not with tears as we know he is where he is supposed to be. ❤️

So many many years ago, John and I visited Bruce and Ginny in their trailer in Brights Grove, and we’re playing darts and Bruce tried to teach me. To this day, I still don’t know how to play darts. It was fun. Recently Enjoyed visits with Bruce and Ginny in a cabin in Leamington. The brothers enjoyed their time together when possible to play golf. Always always the funniest brother-in-law. Now the lord took you to join your brother Eric and John.
Peace.

I was always encouraged by Bruce's heart to serve the Lord. He strived with all his heart to glorify God with every breath. And Virginia was always there to help Bruce with his calling. He is now with his Good Shepherd in Heaven. Praise God for working through Bruce's surrendered life.

My sympathy to Virginia and all of the family. Bruce brought well thought out messages from God's word to Moser River Baptist on many Sunday mornings.
I rejoice because I know he is now present with his Lord and I pray Virginia will be comforted during the days to come.
