The passing of our treasured friend, Lewis Gary Smith—known fondly to many as Gary—is a loss deeply felt. His convivial spirit enlivened every corner of Pictou County, garnered in our shared days at Community College and maintained ever since. Remember him not with sorrow, but the joy he spread wherever he went. May we find comfort knowing his legacy lives on in his son and grandson. Rest peacefully, dear friend, until once again our paths intertwine.
