I grew up with Joey up the hill. He was a bit older but he kind of looked out for me after my father died. He was a natural athlete who was good at everything - baseball, road hockey, snooker - everything. He was very likeable and cool back in the day. He had the first great afro. I haven't seen him since our 20's. I tried to look him up a few times and saw that he was married and had a family and had made a nice life for himself.
