I am so sorry to hear of Ruby"s passing. I remember seeing Ruby when I used to go & visit my own mother Eileen MacKinley. I have one memory of Ruby that always brings a smile to my face. Sorry to hear of Ruby's passing. For many years, anytime I was visiting in Nova Scotia, dropping by for tea and a chat with Aunt Ruby was something I enjoyed. I loved her warm and genuine nature. Sincere condolences to all the family. She was a wonderful lady.

Eddie,Helene and families: I'm so sorry to hear about Ruby's passing. She was a special lady, who could do anything. Way ahead of her time. I used to love her visits. She had such a calm demeanor. Dad loved telling the story of her shooting a deer from door!! (Urban legend). I fondly remember visits to Stillwater and Ruby's homemade strawberry freezer jam. She

Aunt Ruby will always be remembered by me for her kindness and sweet gentle smile. She was an amazing person who was always ready to give my parents a hand with anything they could ever need. She was dad’s favourite sister, on more than one occasion over the years he would call me Ruby by mistake. I enclosed a picture we took while visiting her years ago, Ellie had her first smile and giggle while sitting on her lap! The magic of Aunt Ruby.
