I was saddened to hear of Kaye's passing. I knew her through the Michelin Retirees Club and the Michelin Retirees Bowling League. She was always interesting to talk with. She will be missed by many, especially by her family.

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting "Aunt Kaye" on several occasions over the 13 years we have been living here, she was a remarkable woman for so many reasons....highlights for me were her beautiful pillowcases that I now will treasure, her sandwiches at baby showers that I literally stuffed my face on. I found a lady in my presence that was strong, quietly got on with it and did so with a smile. In reading her obit I realized this woman was so much more but I will have my memory of "Aunt Kaye" in my heart always. To the family of Aunt Kaye and her dear friends, take comfort in the days ahead, together, in memories. She will always be a part of the fabric of your lives and community and you are so much better for knowing and being in the presence of such a remarkable lady! I am saddened to learn of Kaye's passing, but heartened to remember that throughout her life she contributed continuously to family, neighbours, community and friends. Despite my living 'away' for too many years, I always was aware of Kaye, a childhood friend of my sister Beverly. as a principled, stalwart of life in the East River Valley. Through her children and grandchildren, her values and wider contributions to others will continue forever. My heartfelt condolences to the many who loved Kaye dearly.

My sister Gerda and I Tilly Meyer, had a wonderful visit with Kaye just this past Sep. She enjoyed our company and talking about old times in Glencoe. Many wonderful memories she shared with us. Gave us a big lunch and followed up with gifts the following Sunday in Church. Such a special lady. My condolences to her family.
