Evonne Jenkins born in County Durham, England, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Laura (Raine) and step-father Cyril Bell of Coventry, England.
Predeceased by husband Stephen Bruce Jenkins and son James Mark Jenkins. Evonne leaves behind her daughters Stephanie (Anthony) Somerville of Ontario, Kelly (Terry) Gingerich of Ontario, and Kim (Dwayne Laffin) Bray of Pictou; grandchildren: Johnathan, Jason, Tabatha, Logan, Danielle, Matthew, Jessica, Stephan, Corey, Nick, and many great-grandchildren, also Evonne’s brother Ken (Janice) Bell, and brother-in-law Lenard (Carolyn) Jenkins, along with many nieces and nephews.
Evonne was extremely talented, her passion was painting, knitting, and her love of making banana loafs.
Many thanks to the VON, Palliative Care Unit, family and friends for helping out during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be a private ceremony in Thorburn with family.
Any donations can be given to the Palliative Care Unit Aberdeen Hospital in memory of Evonne.
