Our condolences to you and your family, it's not easy losing your mother. The person the closest and dearest to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We met Evonne through mutual artist friend George Halverson; what a blessing George and Evonne were for each other. We witnessed how much they meant to each other. We have fond memories of our visits together at Semple Creek. Please find the attached photo of them together. I think of Evonne and George together now in that creative artist heaven

You were my best friend you deserve all the love and happiness your grandchildren offered you. You were my person. I needed a friend I always knew you were there for me, a call away. You taught me things in life I could never pay back to you. I always remember you coming home and teaching me how to knit as a child and telling me we will never crochet because that isn’t something we do. I miss our morning car rides for tea at Tim Hortons and singing songs in the car. I know the family members who left to soon and the ones whom we never got to meet are there greeting you eagerly. Until we are together again nanny. I send you all my love.

I am so sorry to hear of Evonne’s passing. She was a lovely person and one of my late mom’s favourite relatives in law. Sharing England as their birthplace and the close proximity of where they grew up there, made them instant friends when they met in Canada.

I have so many fond memories of Evonne, Stephen, Stephanie, Mark, Kelly and Kim. It’s impossible to pick one.
I never forgot any of you, that might tell you about how I feel of you all. 49 years in Sweden and I did try to see Evonne every time I was back home.
I’m sure Stephen and Mark were there with open arms waiting for Evonne.

Richard and I had so much fun at the Stellarton legion with Evonne! Could she ever dance and loved every song. Evonne was a beautiful kind lady. I wish I could have seen her one last time but the memory from the week before she passed away I will never forget. Rest in peace Evonne you will not be in any pain now. Till we meet again.
