Dear Joan and family: Our sincerest condolences on Randy’s passing. He is a second cousin we never knew, but we knew his father and grandfather. Our grandfather Scott and his grandfather Chesley were brothers. It is a lovely written obituary telling part of his life story,
And since I am doing family tree research it fills in a lot of blanks. I will share this sad news with my other first cousins.

I will always remember the incredible thoughtful gesture that Randall and Joan showed to me as a very young adult. Shortly after our wedding, when I was just 20 years old, Randall and Joan invited us to join them at Mother Webbs in Antigonish for a steak dinner. Then they picked up the bill for the whole. That gesture made such a big impact on me. . Thoughtful, kind and a great sense of humor…this is how he will be remembered. RIP Randall!!
