My favorite memories of Cody growing up were meeting up half the way on the train tracks to walk to school with each other every morning and then going to Wednesday evening public ice skate. I moved away and when I came home to Nova Scotia, Cody was one of the first people to come to meet with me and talk about how we grew up together.
May he rest easy.
He was taken from the world too soon.

My greatest memories of Cody were walking to elementary school together- taking the train tracks to meet half the way to each other and going every Wednesday to the public ice skate in Stellarton!
He had a great heart and always had something funny to say.

Darbe, Henry and family, I am so very sorry to hear about the death of your dear Cody. It’s such a heartbreaking loss of a much loved son, brother and uncle.
I taught Cody at GR Saunders when he was very young but he left an impression even then - I remember this bright, kind and helpful little boy with the biggest smile, and the most warm and supportive family.

Cody’s huge smile will be a loving legacy to all who knew him. I have so many fond memories of all the time he spent with us, at the ball field and the house. One of my favourites was when we rented the cabins in Bedford and the boys broke into the neighbouring pool for a midnight swim.
