In my younger years I always visited the MacLean household with my friend April, Verna's sister. What a fantastic time running around in the hay, visiting grand parents next door and enjoying the animal life. Edna was an amazing mother to the MacLean Children.
I remember Verna as a kind, friendly sister to April. She always loved animals. I'm certain her kindness and love for animals came from her mother, Edna.
I can only wish Verna did not suffer. I have only just found out about Verna's passing. My heart goes out to the MacLean family.
