Bessie was one fine lady. An exceptional person with children. Her kind approach and dedication to everything will always be remembered. Loved when she came to church to be able to chat going down the aisle. My condolences to her family and friends.

Betty was a founding member of the staff that made up Frank H. MacDonald Elementary School when it opened in 1976 in Sutherland's River. This was a very special group of people and I, as Principal, valued every one of them. Moving from the one room school house to this venture was a challenge that we all had to meet - and it was an exciting adventure for us all. Betty worked as a valued member of the Primary team and made an enduring impact on the lives of many children. We were fortunate to know her and have her in our midst. Rest in Peace now dear one. You will live on in all our memories.

So sorry to hear of "Tweet's" passing. She spent most of her life looking after others, whether that was during her teaching career or in life in general. She raised a fine family that turned out to be as caring and lovely as she was herself. She will be missed by all who knew her. Condolences, the MacLeans of King's Head.
