Obituary of Sandy Fiefield

Sandra Grace (MacKay) Fiefield formally of Stellarton passed away unexpectedly at home on April 13th, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Muriel (Whitewood) MacKay.
Sandy lived most of her life in Stellarton before moving to Durham the past 25 plus years. She retired from the Glen Haven Manor where she had worked for more then 30 years. She had volunteered with Pictou County Help Line for many years. She was a member of the Christ Anglican Church in her home town of Stellarton.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dougie Fiefield, sons Sam and James Alexander (JA), and sisters Violet and Sarah.
Sandy is survived by her Sister/Niece Donna (Kennedy) Fleming, chosen son Paul Pentz and supporting cousin Jack and wife Heather Lees as well many nieces, nephews and other family members and great friends. A special mention to “the girls at the pool” is also necessary.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel on April 20th, 2023 at 2 PM, followed by a private graveside service in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations in Sandy’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
