My Deepest Sympathy to Sandy's Family. Sandy and I were cousins and Sandy was always interested to find out about my side of the family and of course, Sandy would fill me on what was happening in her family. Whenever we met, Sandy was so thoughtful and always inquired about my Mother Marion Cummings.
I am so thankful that during the past years that I was able to spend time with Sandy at the Pictou Pool and enjoyed her company and our chats. Rest in peace Dear Cousin!

I was so sad to hear of Sandy's passing when Jack called me at the pool on the day of her passing, she was always a delight to have in my aqua fitness class, she was always full of fun, she will always be known to me as the voluptuous one, she so loved that word Voluptuous. I will never forget this past Valentine's day when Sandy and Jane came in to the pool, Sandy with Halter top bathing suit, which created quite a stir and Jane in a interesting Red and Black bathing suit arm in arm, as they came in grinning ear to ear. She was always full of fun. I will never forget her favorite pick up line she she told me one day, which stuck with me to this day, as one day she grabbed me by the arm and said did your check come in? I'll take you home, I love that line. Sandy impacted so many people, she was always a faithful participant in Aqua Fitness, the classes won't seem the same without her. I for one will miss her greatly, until we meet again.

We have sadly lost our “Miss Voluptuousness “ , a vibrant member of the Pictou pool girls. Such a good sport and will never forget her modelling the famous lime green bathing suit…only Sandy could have pulled that demonstration off! I relentlessly worked on improving her demeanour but failed miserably; a hopeless cause but hopes she takes up the challenge from up above…if she makes it! Sincere condolences to family and friends with a special mention to Jackie Lees and wife Heather, who were so kind to her.

Sandy was one of our beloved "Pool Ladies" in aquafitness classes at Pictou Pool. She always had a mischievous smile, a joke or a prank and kept us laughing in the pool and in the locker room.

I always enjoyed Sandy's sense of humour and her quick response to almost every situation. She was a great Pool friend and I will miss her very much. We sat side-by-side in the locker room and it will take quite awhile to get used to not having her beside me.
