Danny and Karen,
Shocked and saddened to hear about mom. Like most kids that grew up in Stellarton Ann was my Grade 5 teacher at GR. She ran a tight ship! Growing up with Rob many fond memories and laughs at the house. She was a great lady. Thoughts and prayers with you and your families.

Sorry to hear of Anne's passing.
When we moved in across the street, she promptly came over, introduced herself and welcomed us to the neighborhood. She said it was so good to have children coming back into the neighborhood and told me how much she loved hearing children around, outside.
Very nice lady. Always a wave and a smile.
Condolences from the Reavis family.

Ms.Manning was my grade 6 teacher in Stellarton middle school, I was terrified when I heard she was going to be my teacher! Kids were saying she was so stricked and mean and she hollered a lot so I was so scared! When I walked in I seen a stern faced lady and thought my fears would come true but I was so wrong!! Did she take care of the good offs? Absolutely! But her and I became close fast, she had nothing but smiles for me and so willing to help and she was funny in her own way. I still remember her egg timer she used all the time! I cried at the end of the year cause I wanted to stay with her, she quickly turned into one of my favorite teachers, I remember going and buying 2 small porceline clowns which were popular at the time and getting my mom to take me to her house to drop them off and so I could see her. I'm saddened to hear of her passing, I often wondered if she would remember me after all these years as I was the graduating class of 2000. Rest in peace Ms.Manning you definitely made an impact on me!

Ann was a valued member of our Friday night family suppers. She always added lots of humour and history to our conversations. We were able to solve the world problems at the kitchen table without our cell phones. We will always remember her laugh and the occasional 'put in our place'. She will be missed by the Vaughan family.
Love Kim & Derrick Vaughan

Sincere condolences to you Karen and all your family. I remember your mom with fondness and love. She had an amazing sense of humour and always a ready smile. She raised strong, independent people and she will live on through you all. A great role model and supportive momma. You have fabulous memories to comfort you. Always remembered, always loved. Hugs from Joan, Zachary, and Nicholas.
