I didn't know Alice for long but she became a fast friend and I thought a lot of this lovely lady. I enjoyed listening to her stories about the past and her sense of humor. She loved her family dearly, I know that. Rest easy Alice.

Sorry, for your loss. My mother and Alice were good friends when we all lived in Hornepayne and kept in touch when we all returned to Nova Scotia. I sometimes thought of Alice and Vernon and wondered if they were still alive. I also remember the time Nauldine when you boarded with me in Dartmouth.

John P. Stewart was my grandmother Blanche Brown's brother and I remember going to Blue Mountain when I was a child. My mother and father are both buried in Blue Mountain Cemetery and anyone going by can see the Brown stone. Most of my relatives have passed away. I used to talk to Alice when I would meet her in New Glasgow. Sheila Chisholm.
