Jack, Jim and Brenda,
My deepest condolences to you all.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. Barbara was a great lady!!
It was a longtime ago that I first met Barbara and John. In 1965 (I believe) when the road from Blue Mountain to Aspen was first being paved I was a young trucker. I was working on the new road along with two other truckers. We needed a place to stay and a place to get our meals while working there. Barbara and John let us put up a tent in their field by the lake; where we stayed until the job was finished. While staying there Barbara made all our meals for us. She looked after me like I was one of her own. Many years after when she worked in New Glasgow at McKean's, my wife Florence and I would go in to visit her. Barbara was a very kind lady and great friend! She is now lovingly with John again. God Bless you all.

When I think of Aunt Barbara I remember staying overnight which was an adventure being a young girl. As kids we weren’t used to having candy. After we visited, I’m sure Aunt Barbara wondered why all her candy dishes were empty. Later on in life, my sisters and I would often stop in for our pleasurable visits with Aunt Barbara; talking about what was happening in our lives. She had a wonderful sense of humour. Lastly I’ll remember sitting on her front porch with her, watching the birds and her beautiful view. I’m going to miss my Aunt Barbara greatly, with love, Heather.

My dear Aunt Barbara who I was named after by my beautiful Mom. She was always very special to me but will be reunited with her sisters, brothers, mother and father, and dear Uncle John. A very talented lady who made us lovely Christmas gifts which meant a lot to us. Loved to go visit even though with Covid visits got to be fewer. Prayers for peace and comfort for Brenda & Fred, Jackie & Linda, and Jimmie & Debbie along with the beautiful grandchildren. We will miss her but know this life isn’t forever but it is where she is. Love Barbara & Jim
