Dorothy was a former colleague of mine at Cameco Corporation in Port Hope, Ontario where she was held in high esteem by her co-workers. After her retirement she returned to her beloved Nova Scotia and called it the "best decision of her life". Dorothy and I kept in touch by telephone and my husband Larry and I visited her in Nova Scotia on several occasions after she moved "home". She and Ron were kind enough to give us tours of New Glasgow and treat us to dinner. She always spoke lovingly of her family, her devotion to her church and her volunteer work with the local hospital. She will be missed by so many and we extend our condolences to her family and to all who knew and cared for her.
We send a special hug to Ron who brought so much happiness to her life. She called him "A Saint".
Sincerely, Marion & Larry Manders, Kendal, Ontario

Being relatively new to Trinity United we have only got to know Dorothy fairly recently. She clearly was a dear person and I loved my Sunday morning chats with her - we both love dogs. News of her fall and broken hip was shock enough; news of her sudden passing really was so unexpected. I will miss her bright eyes and big smile, She was much loved by us all. May she rest in peace.
