I am so sorry to hear this sad news so late condolences to the family Janette was a living angel she went above and beyond for everybody that she knew including myself I was a hairdresser for many years prior to Covid happening I kind of lost touch for a bit because of it but I remember the other day I must call Janette see how things are going and to my surprise I was in shock and sad to read her obituary rest in peace sweet Janette and continue on in heaven your angel duties until we meet again my friend rest easy you’ll always be in my thoughts every time we make your biscuits your friend and hairdresser Cathy Mackenzie

We are so sorry to hear this sad news,our sincere condolences to all of her family.We met Janette in Toronto in 1962 at her house & lived there for a couple of years as boarders,and she was a great cook & landlady,in fact she put on a beautiful supper for us & our friends & family for our wedding on Manning Avenue .We always kept in touch & we moved back home to Cape Breton in 1970& met her again in Heatherton & then again in Tracadie & New Glasgow.Our kids loved her dearly & so did we, so she will always be in our memories.Fly high with the angels our dear friend.RIP Janette xoxo Alex(Boo) & Arabelle Fougere,Big Pond Cape Breton
