My sincere condolences to Gary's family and friends.
I had the privilege of working with Gary through my work with the Confederacy of Mainland Mi'kmaw. Every year he worked with several of the staff inspecting public facilities on various First Nations Communities across NS, Nfld/Labrador. I always looked forward to his stories from his adventures in Newfoundland. Gary mentored many of our Mi'kmaw staff who enjoyed his company on the way to some very isolated communities. His smile was infectious; his work ethic - an outstanding model for us all. He will be missed by many of us at CMM.
Personally, I will always consider myself truly blessed to have known him.
