Obituary of Jeanne McDonald

Jeanne McDonald of Stellarton, and formerly of Bridgeville, NS passed away April 27, 2021.
Born and raised in Ontario, she taught at the elementary school level for a brief period before moving to Nova Scotia. After graduating from Dalhousie University, she resumed her teaching career with the Dartmouth School System. In 1982, she moved to Pictou County, the home of her father’s family for five generations, where she farmed and operated a pre-school in her farmhouse until her retirement in 2003.
Jeanne is survived by a brother Norris (Susan) McDonald, niece Carolina, nephews Cameron and Duncan.
She was predeceased by parents Allan and Grace Dorothy (Bulmer) McDonald also companion Kit Robinson.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in Bridgeville Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations if desired may be made to Pictou County SPCA, World Wildlife Fund, Hope for Wildlife or the Pictou County YMCA.
