So terribly sad to hear this. I remember Nick as a beautiful little boy with a gentle soul and a precious inner light. I know from my own struggles with mental health, for myself and friends and family members, that no one is to blame -- this is simply an illness that takes over. When it gets this bad you feel like you're standing on a bridge with a train coming at you; you must either stand your ground or jump. No matter how much love people show you, you feel alone. No matter how much you have to live for, you feel like you're staring into a black hole. Time and compassion are needed to get through it, and time and compassion are now needed to help this family heal. Nick will always be with us in our love for him and our compassion for others who pass through this dark valley. May the source of all light and love be with you all to guide you through it.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Nick’s passing! I have so many fond memories of Nick from my time working at St. Mary’s Recreation! I loved Nick with all my heart and though I wish we had more time together, I’m happy for him that he’s in heaven now, feeling no more pain. We’re praying for him and all his loved ones everyday. He told me he wanted to bring joy to people’s lives, making them feel happier and more confident when they left his barbering chair. He was too sweet and pure for this world, and he’s with God and his grandmother now, and I know him and I will be together again eventually. ❤️

Our paths only crossed for a short time, but during that time I got to know you quite well and enjoyed our laughs and good times.
