Cheek, Beulah Helen- It is with broken hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother Beulah Helen Cheek at the age of 97 years in the Valley View Villa on November 29, 2020. She was the daughter of Felix and Hattie (Horne) Boudreau of New Glasgow. Mom was a resident of Valley View Villa for the past 5 years previously a long time resident of Belmont Ave Stellarton. Mom was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nannie and Grammie and never missed an opportunity to travel away for graduations, weddings, and birthdays. Mom worked as a PCW (Personal Care Worker) at Glen Haven Manor from where she retired. She enjoyed caring for the residents and made many friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. She sang in the church choir and was a 65 plus year member of the C.W.L. Mom was amazing at knitting and each grandchild, great grandchild, along with numerous friends and family all received her knitting treasures. She loved playing Bingo and cards with family and friends. Mom was a very strong woman and always put everyone else above herself. She had the warmest smile, kindest heart and gave the best hugs. She was predeceased by her husband James William (Bill).
