I am sorry to read of Beulah’s passing. Many years ago she used to play cards at my house in Trenton, with my Mom “Jo” Strickland, my grandmother Peg MacDonald, my Aunt Doris and their friend Mary Chennell. I last saw Beulah several years ago when she was living in her apartment in Stellarton, while we were visiting her friend Dot MacDonald. My sincere condolences to all of her family.

To all of Beulah's family, I send my sincere condolences to you because of the passing of your sweet and wonderful mother. My late aunt, Corrine MacLanders, considered Beulah her best friend, and I know they tootled around with each other for years. She even came to some of our family gatherings which was delightful. I often think of Beulah when I think of Aunt Corrine, wondering where is, if she is still alive. I am so glad to hear that Beulah lived to be 95. Good for her. (Unfortunately, Aunt Corrine was only 79 when she passed.) They were great pals. Again, my sincere condolences.

Family Members,
My sincere condolences in the passing of your mom. My mom and sister worked with your mom for years at the manor, and that's where I met Mrs. Cheek back in 1977 when I worked in the kitchen / dining room. The girls all worked well together; They were all such a happy group of girls who enjoyed their work and had lots of laughs together. Your mom and the rest of the girls had an awesome work ethic. I will profoundly miss, Beulah, my mother-in-law. We had many great times together during our many drives, card games, visits in NS / ON, and meals together. Her thoughtfulness and love for my family will be greatly missed. God bless a life lived to the fullest!
