Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of Margaret. She was the one to welcome me to the Museum of Industry and taught me how to hand quilt. She also offered me transportation to the Museum and was kind to everyone. She would do anything for you if asked and was quick to compliment on projects that I had finished. My first time meeting Margaret was in front of Skokes store in Stellarton on an afternoon walk with my daughter Danielle (4 yrs old) at the time. As she parked My daughter noticed Margaret’s name etched on her vehicle “Mom that lady wrote on her car, that’s bad “ Margaret was heading into the shop her infectious laugh echoed as she passed. A year later I started working with Marg and Hughie at their shop. I am ever so grateful for her kindness over the years and her laugh of that day will be with me always.
