I first knew Delthia as a disciplinarian, performing a much needed role at WPDHS..
Blenis Nicholson, the principal, was rather easy going and generally a great guy, a role he was able to play as he abdicated disciplinary measures to Delthia. She instilled fear in me.
It was some years later that I came to know Delthia on a different level, and enjoyed my interactions with her. She was a warm and interesting person. Even though I remained her subordinate, I valued our interactions.
She left a positive legacy, and will be missed.
