Reginald Wendell "Reg" Corbett Obituary

Reginald “Reg” Wendell Corbett

We announce the passing of Reginald “Reg” Wendell Corbett on January 1, 2025. He was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on July 20, 1975, he was the son of the late Ellen (Clyburn) Corbett and Matthew “Buddy Corbett from Middle River, formally Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

Reg was a genuine person, son, brother, and true friend until the end. He had an outgoing personality that made it easy to make friends wherever he went.

As a young man, Reg became a carrier for the Chronicle Herald, where he became well known around our community “The Red Row”. A few years later he was employed at the Co-Op gas station. He attended vocational school where he received his papers to be a mechanic. His adventures led him to Florida, Cincinnati, then onto Kentucky where he continued his career in which he excelled. He specialized in foreign, antique and new models.

Reg began to study Chito-Ryu Karate as a young child with his dad in New Glasgow, and continued into his adulthood, receiving his 3rd degree blackbelt. He also had a love for all nature and animals.

Because he would lend a hand where needed, he made wonderful friends, young and old, who treated him as family. He was extremely loyal to his family and friends. He will be forever missed.

Reg is survived by his fiancée Kristen Conover (Kentucky, USA); his daughter Skyla Suhok Corbett (Kentucky, USA); sisters Ann (Malcolm) Pellerine (Sherbrooke Rd), Heidi Corbett (Harvey MacKenzie) (Lansdowne), Melodie Corbett (Billy MacDonald ) (Trenton); nieces and nephews Zachary Wison his children (Gemma, Jewel) (Pictou), Margaret Wilson her children (Skylar, Kolson), Nicholas (Molly) Bushulak (Stellarton), Christopher (Nevada) and his children Lucas, Sabrina Bushulak (Stellarton), Hunter MacDonald (Trenton), Daniel Tulk and his son (Henry) Tulk (Elgin, Ontario); sister in law Andrea Corbett (Westville); brother in laws Kevin Conover, Donte Evans; his fur babies Luna, Estella, Sueke, and Little Bit.
