Robert Mitchell MacNeil passed away November 29th, 2024 at the age of 78. Survived and sadly missed by his children Michael (Terri), his son Kyle Victoria, BC; John (Rhonda), their son Lucas, Beaverbank, NS; Angela (Patrick) Nolan Ottawa, ON, their daughters Amelia and Alyssa; and sisters Margaret Ann (Joe) Van De Wiel, Antigonish; Jean (Joseph) Martell, Trenton; Betty MacNeil, Enfield; brother Fraser (Lee) MacNeil, Cornwall, ON.
He was predeceased by his parents Thomas Ross and Mary Ellen MacNeil, Trenton, and his two loving wives, Mary Agnus (MacDonald), New Glasgow and Mora Jane (Marshall), Thorburn.
He also leaves behind a great friend Jason MacNeil, New Glasgow. Robert worked at Michelin for 30 years while contributing to the community of Little Harbour as a volunteer firefighter and Scout Leader. His hobbies over the years were reading, travelling and wood working. Many awards were won by Bob and Mora in Eastern Canada and Eastern U.S.A. for their wood carving and painting of duck decoys.
He will be remembered as being a very kind and thoughtful person who was always thinking of and helping others. Following Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
