Words, spoken or written, are inadequate for us to express our sorrow about losing our dear friend and family member.
Margaret was a treasured part our lives; starting when she was very young, borrowing her Dad’s car, driving her with her sisters Ruthie and Linda around this area, and always ending up at an ice cream shop. Our link with Margaret strengthened greatly when she was taking her nurse training in Dartmouth. Our place was her home base.
Consistently, over many years, Margaret and Blaine’s house has been a centre for family and friends gatherings; all were made to feel so welcome.
We are left with precious memories of a person who exuded love, care, humour, and sincerity. Margaret will always be in our hearts, and we will always love her dearly.

I was saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. As a teenager living in Riverton, I spent a lot of time with Margaret and Ruth and Linda.
She was a beautiful girl . Although we haven’t kept in touch, I felt a connection through her son Allan.

Deep condolences to my dear friend Erin and her entire family, over the loss of Margaret. Losing a mother is devastating and there are no words that can provide adequate enough comfort. What I will say though is that Margaret was one of a kind: glamorous, steadfast, strong, and a force to be reckoned with. Not only did she welcome all of us into her home, since we were teenagers, she also invited me over for thanksgiving dinner on more than one occasion, when my own family wasn’t available. It meant so much to me. Erin, may her bold and generous spirit, live on in you, as I know it will. Margaret, we’ll see you later, somewhere down the road. Xoxo
