Obituary of Edward Kenneth Fraser

Fraser, Edward K (Teddy) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Edward (Teddy) Kenneth Fraser aged 84. Beloved Husband, Father, Grand Father, Great Grand Father, Brother and friend who left us peacefully and surrounded by his family on October 28, 2024 Ted was owner operator of New Glasgow Foundry and the Coffee Pot restaurant. Working for Proudfoot Feeds and Canadian Postal Services in his later years. He was a member of Hudson Lodge and Ducks Unlimited. In his pass time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and had his recreational pilot license. Ted is survived by his wife Janet (Blackie) Fraser (New Glasgow), daughters Shan (Sandy) MacLeod (Stellarton) and Lori (John) Taylor (New Glasgow), son Travis (Alberta), sister Eleanor (Walter) Kirkwood (Abercrombie), grandchildren Shelby (Dave) Hennigar (Halifax), Jack & Sarah Fraser (Alberta), great grandchildren Mya & Max Hennigar (Halifax), sisters in law Eileen (Carl) Boudreau (New Glasgow) & Donna (Peter) Olsen (New Glasgow) and brother in law Terry MacCulloch (Greenwood),brother in law Blaine(Sonjia) Blackie He is preceded in death by father James Fraser (Greenwood), mother Olive (Meikle) Fraser (Greenwood), brother Hugh (Carol) Fraser (Greenwood) and sister Dianne MacCulloch (Greenwood). Cremation will take place under the care of Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. As requested, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. The family wish to extend their deepest appreciation and thanks to Urology 5B at the Victoria General Hospital (Halifax), 4th Floor Medicine Unit, Emergency Department and Palliative Care at Aberdeen Hospital (New Glasgow).
