Nora T. Morin Obituary

Nora T. (Kaiser)Morin, 90, of New Glasgow passed away peacefully in the Aberdeen Hospital on October 26, 2024. Nora was born in New Harbour to the late Victor and Cordelia (Luddington) Sangster.

Nora worked as a teacher, book keeper, seamstress and homemaker. She was a leader for Brownies / Girl Guides, taught Sunday school, enjoyed quilting and crafting , was an avid curler/bowler and an accomplished artist with her paintings travelling world wide.

Nora is survived by daughters Barbara (Larry) Archibald, Joann (Shane) Connolly, Bonita (Lynn) Kennedy, April (Steve) Watters; son Ronald (Bonny) Kaiser. Grandchildren Nadine (Doug) McKenna, Samantha (Arly) Dunnett, Eric (Melissa) Archibald, Jeff (Danielle) Kennedy, Gina (Devon) Lougheed, Joshua Goguen, Jodie (Jason) Goguen, Maxim (Siobhan) Drisdale, Kevin (Alex) Connolly, Sarah Connolly, Jake McLaren and Robert (Melissa) McLaren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great, great grandchildren; brother Terrance (Alfreda) Sangster, sisters-in-law Hilda Sangster, Norma Kaiser, Jeanne Kaiser, brother-in-law Buddy (Helen) Kaiser; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husbands Aubrey Kaiser and Rene Morin; sister Reba (John) McDonald, brother Alvin Sangster, sisters-in -law Laura (Wesley)Kaiser, Orpha (Banfield) Parsons, brothers-in-law Lionel Kaiser, Wallace (Ina May) Kaiser and Blair Kaiser.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kwasnik, Dr. Horton and Dr. Farrell of Palliative Care, VON, and Home Care (Anna and Theresa) for their caring support during her illness.

Visitation will be held at 1 pm on October 30, 2024, followed by her funeral at 2 pm, in St. Paul’s Church, Port Bickerton, officiated by Vickie Keith, LLM. Burial will be in St. Paul’s cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul’s church or charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of H.W. Angus Funeral Home.
