Hughie, Arlene, Elizabeth, Graham, Esther and family,
Helen was a very good neighbour to the other Fraser family in East River St. Mary’s. She was an important part of the lives of the kids who went to the “little school”. Always so friendly and patient with us when we would take our good, old time choosing candy at the store…25 cents could buy a lot. Helen will be remembered for being involved in everything at the school and in the community. Thinking of you all, Peg and Becky Peace

Helen was one of the best in our community of East River St. Mary's. I couldn't begin to mention all the memories that were made; yet, her smile and kindness stand out. Helen and Ray were our parents good friends, they are all together now! What is really nice is that, we "kiddos" (now in our 70's); still are connected somehow; even though we are miles apart. I will think of you all this weekend; I wish we could be there. Hugs, and love.

We are so sorry to hear of Helen's passing.
I spent may days picking blueberries at her and Ray's fields when I was a child, going with my Uncle Buddy and Aunt Shirley and my grandmother along with many other relatives from our area (West Porter's Lake); it was always a great time. Many wonderful memories and amazing meals we had at the homestead, which was home of many teachers and staff of the years. As a kid, when you walked into the home and the store was out front, it was exciting, then the beautiful piano sat in the living room overlooking the yard, such great times.
Helen was a beautiful lady, inside and out and now will be reunited with Ray.
May she rest in peace.
