It is with great sadness that the family of Geoffrey Marcus Creaser announce his passing, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Geoffrey was a salesman all his life, working for Agnes Surpass, Hostess/Frito Lay, Humpty Dumpty, Vachon and Voortman Cookies. He greatly enjoyed taking his sons with him, to help with deliveries and learn the value of hard work.
Following his retirement, Geoff lived his life to the fullest, where he enjoying curling, camping, playing cards, golf, games, and travelling to see family as well as traveling south for vacation with his wife Linda. He had a passion for building boats and made many models of the very popular ship, the Ship Hector.
Nothing made Geoff smile more than spending time with his family, whether it be those who shared his name or simply the people in his life that also called him Dad, Bumpie or friend. He and his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda shared values that deeply cherished these bonds, not only making those around him feel loved, but also mentoring family to uphold those values for generations to come. Whether he was sitting around a bonfire, playing crib, or watching his grandchildren’s sports and activities, you would always see a smile on his face indicative of his strong sense of pride for his family. Geoff also enjoyed watching the Montrel Canadians as well as the Toronto Blue Jays. His favorite place was the curling rink, he could be found at the Stellar Curling Club several times a week playing his favorite sport. As Geoff got older in life he turned to stick curling, where he played up until this past spring. His memory will live on at the Stellar Curling Club.
From 1976 until his day of passing, Geoff was a founding member of the North End Dart League. This was only the start of his positive impact through community service. He was also the president of the Stellar Curling Club (where he scored an 8-ender, coached with Stellarton Minor Baseball and Minor Hockey.
