Catherine "Terry" Laura Martin
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our sweet mother Catherine “Terry” Laura Martin of Trenton. Terry passed away on August 17th at the age of 69 in the Aberdeen Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Terry was a beautiful person who was loved by all who were fortunate to have known her. She cherished time spent with family and friends. Her kindness, genuine interest and care for others was evident to all. She had a wonderful sense of humor, ability to make others laugh, and will be missed dearly.
Terry is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Stephen) Roop of MacLellan’s Brook, sons Danny MacLeod and Jay Martin, both of Trenton; her grandchildren Laura, Michael, Landon and Lucas; partner Phillip MacDonald. She is also survived by her sister Helene Martin of New Glasgow, brothers Joe (Rebecca) Martin of New Glasgow, Mike Martin of Thorburn, and Rick Martin of Trenton; special Aunt, Veronica O’Neill; lifelong friend, Sandra Mosher.
She was predeceased by her parents Garnet and Loretta (MacEachern) Martin.
The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and healthcare providers involved in Mom’s care over the past couple years. Mom thought of many of you like a second family.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 9pm Friday August 23, 2024 at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA.
