It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Frances Harb age 78 of Abercrombie on Friday August 2nd 2024 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by her family. She is now with beloved husband of 59 years John Harb who sadly passed on November 8th, 2023. Born in New Glasgow she was the daughter of the late Munro and Stella Fraser. She retired from Sobey’s as a Deli manager after many years of service. Frances enjoyed playing music with her brothers and sisters. Cooking and baking were a passion of hers as well, no one could beat her cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies. Frances is survived by her a son John Charles Jr. (Marit Baldwin) of B.C., a daughter Connie Diane Burke (Michael Jamieson) of Abercrombie, two grandchildren David Mitchell Burke of Abercrombie and Sarah Jean Burke (Matt Fraser) of Antigonish. Also surviving are her brothers Doug Fraser (Margaret Fraser) of Abercrombie. Max Fraser (Bob)of Truro, Sisters Lillas Sartoris, Abercrombie, Barb Young (Stewart) of Mountville, several nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded by her brothers Alistair Fraser in infancy, Edward Fraser and sister Diane Bezanson. Brothers-in-law Kenny Sartoris and Raymond Bezanson.

Cremation to take place, no visitation or service by request. Burial will be held at a later date.
