Lillian Elizabeth (Lib) Fisher May10 ,1933-July 17 ,2024

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Great Great Grandmother Lillian Elizabeth (Lib) Fisher. Born at home to the late Austin and Annie Margaret (Urquhart) MacPhee. Elizabeth was the oldest of 17 siblings. Mom was a homemaker for most of her life and later in life became a caregiver, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Elizabeth was the mother of 8, Elizabeth (Beth), Margaret LaLande(Paul),Jim(Debbie),Scott (Camilla),David, Stan(Laura),predeceased by infant sons Melvin and Harold .Besides her children Elizabeth is survived by 15 grandchildren ,numerous great grandchildren ,1 great great grandchild and too many nieces and nephews to count. She is also survived by chosen daughter Sharon MacDonald. Besides her children and families, she is survived by siblings Fraser (Jiggs), Charles, James, Anna, Mabel, Campbell and Marie. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Lawrence (Putt)Fisher, siblings Harold, Robert, Euphemia (Fema ),Shirley ,John ,Howard ,Edward and infant brothers Donald and Douglas as well as a son-in-law Mike Stevens. Her remains will rest at the H.W.Angus Funeral Home 256 King St. New Glasgow for visitation from2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Sunday ,July 21. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday July22 at 2 P.M. with Rev Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
