Joan Rosaline Munro, age 91 of Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Thorburn passed away on July 13, 2024 in the Villa. Born in Truro she was a daughter of the late Martin and Freda (Totton) MacLean.

She leaves to grieve her passing, daughters Ardith (Mike) Shindruk, Margaret (Frank) Dewtie both of Thorburn; Carolyn (Scott) Weir, Eden Lake; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; brother Carl (Shirley) MacLean; sister-in-law Reta Munro, both of Truro.

She was predeceased by her husband James (Rod) Munro (1992); brothers Murray (Lil) MacLean and Arden (Viv) MacLean.

By the request of the deceased the family will have a private burial. She will be laid to rest beside her husband and dance partner in the Thorburn Cemetery.
