Obituary of Henry Nathan Spears

Henry Nathan Spears age 91, of Valley View Villa formerly of Stellarton passed away on July 5, 2024 in the Villa with family by his side. Born in Stellarton he was a son of the late Frank and Louise (Hefferman) Spears. Henry grew up and lived most of his life in Stellarton. He loved the outdoors and the time he spent hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed the times spent at his cottage with his family and friends. Henry loved animals especially his dog and cat. Henry is survived by his wife Janet (Langille) Spears, Stellarton; children William “Bill” (Heather) Spears, Mt. William; Michael (Linda) Spears, Lourdes; John (Janice) Spears, Lourdes; Harold “Sandy” (Janice) Spears, Trenton; Lisa (Troy) Chapman, Mt. William; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson Michael Spears; brother Carl; sisters Margaret, Della and Edna; brother Orphie and sister Betty in infancy. At Henry’s request there will be no visitation or service at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
