Jean’s joy was to dance and she did this well into her eighties, still wearing heels! Celebrating her 99th Birthday in October dancing the hop! Always a lady of fashion, hair done and lipstick on. She was a terrific cook and loved being in the kitchen. She was a caregiver, caring for her parents until they passed.
Jean worked during the war in the Gun Shop, Trenton, and was Manageress at the National Shoe Store, New Glasgow. This incredible lady was still as sharp and witty as ever. Right until the end she shared her endless stories, and laughs. We will miss you, but you missed your children more. It is time for you to be together again. Special thank you to Dr. Gregor MacLean, for all your years of caring for Jean. Also special thank you to all the Doctors and nurses who showed Jean compassion, care and genuine kindness during her time at St Martha’s.
Cremation has taken place, private burial service.
