Many Saturday mornings were filled with the love and laughter of Eleanor and my mother. Eleanor was a devoted family friend who saw all eight of us grow up. We loved her dearly. I hope she and Mom are cheering each other on over a plate of macaroni and a cup of tea.

Dearest Eleanor! There are so many memories of you coming to our house during the many years you and my mom were friends. You just seemed like another one of the family!!
Your laugh, your stories, your strong work ethic, your huge, generous heart ...
Well done! good and faithful servant. You have earned a well deserved rest and will be lovingly remembered.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Eleanor . I met her many years ago when she was working for the Wilson family. She was a wonderful lady. Over the years she would have Albert take her in for a visit . May she rest in peace .

Albert so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a dear friend to my mother in law, Kay Paschal. I remember the beautiful comforter she gave us as a wedding gift. Always loved listening to her & Kay tell stories up country.
Our deepest condolences,
Colleen & Lawrence Paschal .

Eleanor was an employee at ESP for a number of years. She was one of the " go-to" persons to get the job done in the Bindery Dept....she had a characteristic laugh which was unique and a personality to match..She was a press operator in her younger days at another printing operation,a job that was "male dominant" at the time.
It was just after her 72th birthday that someone in Sobeys Human Resources called and told me she was too old to work for the company. I was sadden to let her go but she took it well and had expected that day would be coming. In her 70's she asked if she could borrow some shop tools as she was switching out a motor in her sons car. No job ever stumped her. Eleanor gave 100% everyday of her life... its time to rest easy.
