We were very saddened to hear of your loss; John was such a kind and loving man and was evidently very proud of his family.
We met him for the first time at the Nova Scotia Memorial Monument Ceremony where he came to honour and pay tribute to the horrific loss of Heather, Joshua and Katrina.

We were sorry to learn of John’s passing. It was always fun to run into him when we were in Westville for family events. I will never forget his devotion to Barbara when she was going through her cancer journey. He never wavered.

July 22, 1984 I had the pleasure of taking John and his wife on a local sight seeing flight out of Trenton Airport flying C-FBFY, a Cessna 172. John loved aircraft, as did I, so it was a great experience for all of us, John and his son flew with me again on June 6, 1991 on a flight to Trafalgar again out of Trenton; flying was always our first topic of conversation whenever we happened to meet and I will miss not having the opportunity again immensely. John was a fantastic guy whom I respected from the first day we met. My condolences to his family at this time of loss.

I worked for John at Michelin. He was not only a great manager but a caring person. After John left Michelin I did some contract work fir him at various NS work sites. John will be missed by those who worked or had any association with him over the years.
