Langille, Harold Ryan “Bud”- With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Harold “Bud” on March 30, 2024.
Born October 15, 1944 he was the only son of the late Calvin and Elsie (Sponagle) Langille.
He will be profoundly missed by Carol, his wife and soulmate for 58 years, his sons: John and Paul (Anita), also sorely missed by granddaughters: Jenna and Sydney, grandsons: Jarret and Joshua, greatly missed by sisters: Janet (Henry), Stellarton; Lorraine (Gary), Halifax; sister-in-law Charlotte (Bernard), Ohio; also uncles Arnold and Ron, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Doris and father-in-law, John Clarke
Harold was employed for over 30 years with Michelin Tire, however sadly, he was prevented from continuing due to ill health, although was able to enjoy several years of retirement with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, days at the cottage and spending time with his grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday April 13, 2024 at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with John Canning presiding. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to support the local SPCA, Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
