Pellerine, Wilbert Kenneth “Willie” of Merigomish passed away peacefully February 28, 2024 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow surrounded by his loved ones after a lengthy battle with COPD. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Perrin) Pellerine. Willie enjoyed early morning Tim Horton’s Coffee with his best friend Dave Creed, Country Music, Humpty Dumpty Cheesies, Radio Bingo, A&W Breakfast, Karaoke and just being home relaxing and spending time with his loved ones. Willie is survived by his loving common-law partner, care giver and best friend, Elizabeth Stewart, Merigomish; a daughter Stacey ( John Langille) and grandson Jason, Aspen; a son Cory, Liverpool; 2 granddaughters in Alberta; 2 great-grandchildren in Alberta; a son Kenneth and grandchildren in New Brunswick; step-daughters: Sarah Joyce, Merigomish; Katherine (Maynard Richards), New Glasgow; a step-son John Joyce, Merigomish; a step-son Chris DeYoung, Ontario; step-grandchildren: Ariana, Skyler, Caraira, Jensen, Dominic and Hailey, a sister Kathy (Wayne Otter), Caribou; brothers: Percy (Joan)Pellerine, Lourdes; Wilfred (Doris)Pellerine, Westville; and Michael Pellerine, Truro. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant sister Katherine, a brother Daniel Joseph Pellerine, a brother-in-law Max Lewis and a sister Eileen Lewis. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Willie will be held from 1pm to 5pm Sunday March 10, 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stellarton. angusfuneralhomes.com
