Joesph Lemaire 1941 -2024 Joesph Edward Lemaire, age 82, passed away peacefully February 23,2024, with his loving family surrounding him. He was born October 16,1941 in New Glasgow Nova Scotia to Louie and Alice Lemaire. He married his sweetheart Mary Lemaire in April of 1961. He was preceded by his Father Louie S.R. , Mother Alice Lemaire, Sister Claria MacDonald and Son Louie Lemaire J. R. He loved to spend his time at the cottage fishing with his father, going to the legion to play darts and most of all spend time with his loving wife and family. He was in the military for 20 years serving his country then came home to work as a security guard at the Nova Scotia Power with the core of commissionaires. Joe is survived by his wife Mary Stellarton, two daughters Alice (Stephen) Young Stellaton, Wendy (Barry) Carde New Glasgow, Grandchildren, Lisa Evans, Victoria B.C, Daniel (Jessica) Mac Donald, Halifax Nova Scotia, Austin Carde Thorburn, Owen Carde New Glasgow, Great grandson Gaberial Mac Donald New Glasgow and nephew Kevin MacDonald Trenton. Please join us celebrating his life Thursday February 29,2024 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at the H.C. Mac Quarrie Funeral Home Stellarton, Nova Scotia with social at the Stellarton Legion to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital.
