Obituary of Stanley Gordon Mailman

Stanley Gordon Mailman, age 82 of Denver, NS passed away on Feb. 6, 2024 in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born at St. Mary’s River, NS he was a son of the late Alfred Gordon and Annie P. (Burns) Mailman. Stan was a longtime resident of Denver. He was an avid outdoorsman. He worked as a carpenter and a woodsman most of his life. He is survived by his son Clarence (Wanda), Denver, NS; brother Blaine (Elaine), Sherbrooke; brothers-in-law Robert Robinson, Sonora; Stan (Debbie) Hemlow, Halifax; Ralph (Beverly) Hemlow, Pinevale and sister -in-law Carolyn (Bruce) Bingley, Port Bickerton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn, daughter Elaine, sisters Faye and Sandra. There will be a family visitation on Thursday, February 8 from 7-8 pm in the Kirk memorial united Church, Aspen. Public funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, February 9 in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen with Rev. Derek Elsworth officiating.
